Please read the following!
A Foster Home is a temporary home for an animal until our organization finds a permanent home for the animal. If you are interested in potentially providing a permanent home for one of our animals you should fill out an adoption contract instead. During the adoption process, the adoptive home is allowed a two week trial period to determine if the animal is match for the home.
You can also fill out this form if you would like to volunteer for Clinton Critter Care as a phone operator, pet transport, pet care expert, website assistant, grant writer and other volunteer positions.
Thank you for offering to become a foster home or volunteer for our organization! To be considered as a foster home or volunteer for our organization, you must:
- Be 21 years of age or older.
- If you rent your home you must have consent from your landlord to have an animal if fostering
- Have all animals in the home up to date on vaccinations if applicable.
- Be familiar with and knowledgeable about the animal you are fostering if you will be a foster home
Our rescue organization is an all (unpaid) volunteer organization. For each application we receive it takes us approximately 3 hours to review, contact all personal and veterinary references, and make a decision on approval of it. Depending upon volunteer availability, this can take us several days to accomplish, especially when we receive many applications or if we have difficulties reaching references.
Please complete the below application to begin the foster home or volunteer approval process. Upon receipt of your application, the Clinton Critter Care application coordinator(s) will review your application and speak with your references. Please allow us several days to review this application and contact your references.
Upon clicking the Submit Application button, your application will be emailed to our application coordinator(s). Someone should respond to your application within a few days.
